This is a touching story. After watching this headline it doesn't come as a shock to me. Although the focus was because of the low income area, we also have teens enduring the same thing in middle class areas of our city. Maybe its my "save the world" heart that will always believe that if you expose them to better they will want and do better. I'm a living testimony. I left my small town in Missouri under the impression that this was all I would have in life. Now ten years later at the age of 30 I have achieved and exceeded the dreams of most 50 year olds. Stories like this motivate me to continue being humble and motivating our youth to striving for their dreams.
