Black Dating in a Hip Hop Society

  1. I feel that this is a little over the top, but it does get the message across. This is the case most times with us(black women). We will have a good black man that will just about chase us down, and try to give us what we want and need, and we turn him away. We make up this make believe idea of what we think a good black man is, but in actuality, we are the confused ones and we really can't recognize one. Then when it's to late, we try to find someone to blame! I am guilty of this. Too many of us are guilty of this, we let the good one go, and hold on to the one, that "we think" we can change.

  2. I saw this video on another site a few hours ago. I thought it was hilarious! The sad reality is that many females do feel that way. It has something to do what them lacking the stable environment that they're opposed to. The trill of dating a rapper or even a "thug" is glamorous to them because they haven't been exposed to the true finer things of life. I come from an educated back ground. Both of my parents were professionals who held several college degrees. Therefore, I believe that is the reason why I don't fall victim to this. I have had the luxury of having a great father in my life. And many of these girls that claim that they want to date a basketball player or even a rapper or someone of "that status" are only lusting for what they "imagine" the ideal man is. They don’t know what that is. They haven’t experienced it so the closest thing to it would be the guy on television. If you don’t see good black men stepping up, with professions, that is going to be odd for you. Making you have this false notion that it’s “lame”. There are also several other videos Dr. Johnson. Another good one is the conversation between two black men from two different walks of life.

  3. Thisis the truth about dating in the black community. It appears that black women always want the guys who are not good for them. They do not like men who treats them nice and try to help them. I guess this is because in today's society drug dealers, thugs, and rappers are the people who are glorified in the black community.

  4. How hilarious insane! Funny but sadly true. Many women are stuck in this ideopathological mindset. They prefer the typical male overlooking the more stable one. I believe if my sister would seek after relationships of spirituality, economic and physical growth, then would they possess the "total package".

  5. This video is so funny to me because I have so many friends like that. They will find something wrong with the good men that they find yet they will stick by the one that has cheated on them and disrespected them beyond belief.but if you think about it, deep down a woman knows what she is worth so alot of times she will find a man thats just as good/bad as she is. For example I know I am a good person and a good woman for that matter so there are alot of things that I will not tolerate when it comes to being in a relationship with someone but that not the case with all women.
