My daughter did a Black History presentation on Janet Collins, first African-American Prima Ballerina, when she was in the kindergarten. I am very greatful for the Harriet Tubmans and Dr. Martin Luther Kings of the world. However, black history should not be limited to those we are so accustomed to studying about in our history classes. I loved this article.
