I think is absolutely what I need. This is an excellent dietary idea for the black community. Not only does the plan deal with the "old way" of eating, but incorporates other African cultures, excellent.
ReplyDeleteI wish that they would go ahead and create this because we as African Americans eat different items than those associated on the pyramid. I know being young and have had gestational diabetes and having high cholesterol now. I need to know and be guided in the right direction based on what my culture eats.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Mrs. Ethiopia on this one, except for the vegetarian aspect. I'm not anymore, but have thought about returning to it. The website they have is really interesting and I'm debating on whether or not to post the pyramid of choice all over my house!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea, one that I wish was already in place. It would be very helpful in reducing some of the obesity and medical issues affecting the African American Community.
