I find this article very troubling, yet realistic to the life I live, as a Senior approaching graduation in December. From the chart student loans are astronomical compared to credit card debit, that is unheard of. How are we going to become productive members of society if were set up to fail. I feel if you are not currently employed while attending school, you will be doomed.
ReplyDeleteI am one of the people affected by the student loan and credit card debts. Knowing after graduation, most of my hard earned money will not be used for miscellaneous purposes, but towards my student loans that I accrued trying to receive a higher education.
ReplyDeletethere should be a law against these banks for charging interest rates on loans for college students education! it's horrible for college students to come out of college in debt.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me feel bad for the kids who chose the schools that I couldn't because of the money. And the ones who chose to take all loans out. Now they'll have such a time trying to strive to pay off loan after loan for years. Is a 50k a year job worth it if you're starting off owing 150k plus interest? That's kind of a pain in the butt! It's hard for me, so I can relate. No easy way to get a job these days.
