  1. Mr. Fox was a magnificent comedian, growing up I loved his show. Lamont "big dummy" put the icing on the cake for the show. I do not feel the show portrayed African Americans in a bad light. The show was straight forward, as Mr. Fox was.

  2. It's a shame he did not get the critical acclaim he deserved while he was living. What's more troubling is,the way he paved with his situation comedy never reached the big screen. He put Watts on the map, and gave a new spin to the way other people look at African Americans family life, without an education.

    I use to love Sanford and Son. I do not think it was a negative representation of the Black Community. He did not receive all that praise while he was a live, and it is a shame. His comedy was a little xrated, but hey no more than we are use to in today's society.
