I definitely agree with this blog. It is sad to say, but the young, black athletes of today, are being "pimped" in their contracts in exchange for their talents. White America doesn't care about the education of these African Americans. The ONLY concern is the revenue that these men can make. Like Derrick Rose for example, was a former student here at the University of Memphis, and instead of educating the young man, it was rumored that someone took his ACT test just so that he could be able to play basketball. No lessening of his ability to play,but if he ever was injured, and could not play, what does he have left to fall back on...absolutely NOTHING!
